Our Staff



Alstate employs a dedicated staff of more than 60 professionals (many of whom are bi-lingual) and engages an army of independent contractors.

A squad of twenty paralegals serve as the front-line contact for clients. These knowledgeable staffers keep current on the laws regulating process service and pride themselves on personal attention. Whether your account consists of two papers per month or two thousand, you can expect the highest level of professional and courteous service. No wonder Alstate boasts a high percentage of repeat customers.

Spotlight on Founder: Thomas M. Kurinsky A native of Queens, New York, Kurinsky was once a vice president at a small savings and loan in Bayside before starting Alstate in 1980. Almost 30 years later, the firm boasts more than 600 clients. Kurinsky still oversees daily operations to ensure that his vision of personal service remains the focus of Alstate. Kurinsky is married, and his three daughters are actively involved in the firm. Described as a “workaholic,” he manages to enjoy some fishing as well as the company of his four grandchildren.

Our in-house staff also includes licensed and bonded private investigators. Behind the scenes, we have personnel teams dedicated to specific tasks like preparation of affidavits, fulfillment of time-sensitive papers, document imaging, and file management. Efficient service is ensured by our pool of licensed, independent process servers. Our process servers are  knowledgeable in the laws regulating our business and are also briefed on specific requirements of

 our clients.  Process servers are professional and experienced, and the majority have been associated with Alstate for 20 years or more. Our independent staff also includes court runners and abstractors.
